Sometimes I forget how fortunate I am to have a job that a) is an actual job – which is a pretty big deal these days – and b) is a job that I absolutely adore. I get to meet amazing people, visit amazing places, and build amazing relationships. What could be better?
I was reminded of how AWESOME this job is when I met Ben and Francesca. They’re the kind of couple who you instantly feel like you’ve known forever, even after just a cup of coffee with them. It did help that, when Fran emailed me to set up a meeting, she included a list of little facts about them… such as describing their two families as a “Meet the Fockers”-esque combination. Who wouldn’t jump at the chance to work with a families like that!?
We worked together to come up with some great ideas for their engagement shoot… and wait til you see the location we were able to get access to. A helicopter pad, NBD. And Ben is a police officer, so it was only appropriate to throw in some bullets for a little 007-type action.
We started out at the park for a few shots with their sweet pup, Bailey!
Then we headed downtown for some fun at King Plow. Aren’t they precious??
And, ummmm….how adorable are they?
I know.
Then we hopped on over to Ventana’s and rocked their helicopter pad for a little while.
Then we moved down to the balcony for some cuddle time
Don’t you just love cuddle time?
And I’m a tad obsessed with these next ones. I know this post is heavy on the B&W side, but I can’t resist.
And to end on a slightly awesome note, here are the more than slightly BA ring shots.
P.S. – high fives to Ben, not only for the bullets but also for one BEAUTIFUL ring.
Bencesca, I am so unbelievably excited about shooting your wedding in November, and am so glad to have met you both! Here’s to a b-e-a-utiful friendship. You. Are. Awesome.
xoxo
